We enjoyed a delicious lamb and bark on Sunday afternoon—it was fantastic! Everything was fresh, from the vegetables to the meat. The drink prices were quite reasonable, and overall, dining there was affordable! I highly recommend it! A little tip: if you decide to go, it's best to book a table in advance.

Quintessential English Pub! Great atmosphere, quaint village and friendly staff absolutely loved it and the lunch wasn't too shabby either!

What a great find! Was looking for a day out whilst staying at Castleton, when I came across Sheldon Fete. This delightful pub in located in the centre of the village with ample parking. The inside screams HISTORY Lovely antiquated décor, ornate fireplace with a cosy atmosphere. Service was excellent as were the prices. The food is traditional fayre, as is the presentation. None of the mish mash of salad leaves, just an enjoyable, British old school salad selection. to accompany the wholesome and very tasty fresh crab. Will definitely be visiting again, very soon, as I was reliably informed by one of the locals, that the steak and ale pie was not to be missed!!
