Namli - Baku

The Namli Restaurant is located inside the Bulvar Mall shopping center, along the shores of the Caspian Sea in the city of Baku. This restaurant offers a variety of typical dishes from Turkish cuisine, from "Döner Kebab" to the famous "Lahmacun". If you find yourself in Baku during a holiday when most businesses are closed, you will be thankful to discover this place. While it may not offer traditional Azerbaijani cuisine, the food is decent and the prices are quite affordable. During my visit, I tried a vegetarian dish made with a spicy chickpea paste that was unique and delicious. Even if you opt for more elaborate dishes, you will likely only spend around 5 euros per person, including a drink such as the traditional Turkish "chai".
