Texas Best Smokehouse - Balch Springs

Been coming here for over 7 years, and about 2 3 times a month the last two years. Ever since the BBQ place got taken over by new owners/management a few months back food quality has decreased and prices have gone up. First off, ain't no one teach you not to mess with a Texan's barbeque sauce? The regular sauce now comes watered down you can see the water settle on top after a few minutes. Tastes watered down, looks WAY soupier and not saucy at all. And they also only fill the regular BBQ side cups up 1/3 of the way now while making you pay for extra. Three of them will fill one. Talk about scammy. Let's move on to the Mac n cheese pretty sure they water this down too. The microwave mac in my pantry has more flavor and tastes more like cheese than whatever they're serving now. It's soupy and drippy; you'd be banned from the cookout. Overall, the food was awful, and the blatant greediness in the changes made will come back to bite you where the sun don't shine. Your employees serving the food can't even keep up with the price changes I was told a 2 meat plate was 17.99 and instead was charged 18.09. Its not the value of the 10 cents but the integrity of the matter. As a long time customer and someone who came here because it was good, convenient, and close by I won't be eating here anymore. Had to have some bbq/smoked meat before getting back on the road,sadly I was disappointed when stopping here for the first time. First there was no smell of smoke anywhere,which is when I should have turned around,but anyway I got the $15 brisket baked potato,the brisket has zero hint,taste,or aroma of having been smoked at all,though the flavor and tenderness was alright,the fixings were skimpy,but even worst is,it's a tragedy to put a pound of brisket on a potato then add IMITATION BACON PEOPLE.
