Heart N Soul Cafe - Balclutha

I have visited this restaurant many times while driving through Balclutha and I am always impressed by the variety of café food they offer. During my last visit, we had a bit of trouble finding a seat, but the long wait was definitely worth it. I enjoyed a delicious salad with fish and chips, followed by a slice of cheesecake. The salad was very fresh, and the prices are quite reasonable. Overall, it was a lovely café experience.

My experience was a mixed bag when selecting the slices, as there wasn't any information displayed. I ended up trying a Walnut Slice and a Chocolate Cookie Slice. Both were good, but I particularly enjoyed the Walnut Slice for its delightful crunch. The Cookie Slice was a bit dense, but the flavor was decent. Unfortunately, the Hot Chocolate didn't impress me; it tasted a bit bland. Overall, it was an okay experience, and I would definitely return to sample more sweet treats.

This is a fantastic spot to enjoy breakfast on your way to Dunedin! Situated in Balcultha, a charming small town, this café serves exceptional coffee and delicious fried eggs. Highly recommended!
