Probably the best value for money from Kviknes Hotel. Very good food and good selection of beer and cider wines. The cone is the overwhelming smell of fried foods that literally get into your clothes.

Family race. Very pleasant inside. Great host/owner. We had the salmon and the meatballs. Both excellent.

We really enjoyed this family-run restaurant! Mama cooked, Papa neat the bar and the daughter who served us was very sweet and gracious. The food was delicious and they had very good prices: I had the salmon menu with fish soup and my husband had meatballs. It tasted like cooking at home in the best way as the delicious food that would make your Norwegian grandmother. We were there last weekend where they were open for the season, and I was glad to have a good meal option, except for a big hotel in the city.

Svigermors kjøtkaker tasted excellent! Very friendly staff that offers us free coffee after meal. We're coming back!

Friendly staff and a nice looking restaurant. Unfortunately the food is not very special. We had the fish soup as starter and the salmon and veggie burger as mains. It's not bad but I do not believe it's home made. It all tasted industrial like food you eat in a road side restaurant. On top of that the smell of the frying pan is predominant. Unfortunately only filter coffee, which was made a long time ago. The owner can do so much more with this lovely location. Please invest in a proper air filtering system, a proper coffee machine and start preparing the food yourself.
