Ballarat Steakhouse - BALLARAT CENTRAL

Our sohn recommended this restaurant. our efforts to walk a healthy 10 minutes to dinner ended in our lost, trying to follow the route on our iphone. we have reported that we were running behind the time and want us to cancel. the table would still be reserved. Unfortunately, try to lead us, not helped us, and, like I have balance problems and an upcoming hips op, my man returned to the motel for our car. Finally, we found the place and get an enjoyable insurance that we should relax and enjoy. what we did. prawn and steak dishes were tasty addition of vegetables, which are often larger than we can consume, becomes a little expensive; for example, I cannot face a huge part of chips, so waste of food and pay to send back buses seems very wasting. that is the same for me in every restaurant. the waiting staff was helpful and friendly. at the end we enjoyed the evening.

Beautiful ambiente, decor and table spacing. Currently there are two dining options due to covidsafe requirements, so every arrival for 7.30 clock session the personal appeared a little run from their feet and hatsled, but we had luck enough to be served before others...which I noticed was a long time for their meal due to the unique meal time. good steaks, there is no harm to a bernaise sauce that I consider a classic with steak. chips were rather warm than hot. the house “Bastel” is very opaque and penetrates the steak. my partner had a steak without baste and I think he's made the best choice. good, but not great for the price I would give him 6/10.

Booked on the phone to dinner for two, Saturday night 8 o'clock. sitting on a table that is clamped in the absolute walls of the corner of the restaurant next to the office. table not a meter place with us both opposite a wall. in the corner. I asked if we could move. No, no more tables. I have suggested that they might have said they were posted instead of offering such an unpleasant place. instead of understanding, the “Floor Manager” explained that no one complained. if a table is ready if we could move? then they said they were all 7:30 starters so no. not interested. the end. zero interest in an alternative, apologising and another night. nothing. when asked for the contact data of the manager to whom she refused. so disappointing and will never try to go back. many other qualitatiw high quality restaurants in ballarat for them to give their money.

Great food! I had lamm my man had steak, the service was exceptional and the restaurant itself was stunning. buying each product/component for the meal, however, is added.

Very nice food and good service. But we were shocked when the bill came. Be aware each item on the menu incurs an extra cost unless you get just steak chips no sauce or sides, there is no kids menu and in the end...we paid $250 for 3 adults 2 children under 9 and got only one course and one round of drinks.
