Irish Murphys Ballarat

The food is so big even if your a BIG eater your find it filling great place to wind down and chat with friends, that is of your a drinker, i am not so i only have the meals

I visited here at the beginning of the month for a birthday. Although everyone wasn't seated at the same table it was still a very cozy space and worked well. I had the steak which I had gluten free. I was very pleased that they had gluten free gravy and the chips were gluten free. The steak was cooked perfectly and the dish was fantastic overall. I will definitely be returning in the near future, thanks.

Took my family there after a lot of research to find a nice pub in Ballarat. Waited for 55 minutes for food to appear. It was a Tuesday night with three tables taken - what they were doing in the kitchen, who knows. When it arrived, my Chicken parma was luke warm and the chips were burnt. Having said all that, the rest of the food - irish stew and burger - was okay according to my family. But I won't be heading back.

I was just fanging for s good hearty meaty meal, soul food, winter warming goodness .....and I was not disappointed. Fine food, great company, a small band playing out the front and child friendly , I couldn't have asked for anything better. The lamb shanks were wow, the stew was omg and the pie was just ( sigh ) heaven . Yes we went two nights in a row it was that good.
