Lazy Moe's - Ballarat

My boyfriend brought me to this restaurant for the first time in October 2022. I ordered Avocado on toast and he ordered a Raspberry Spider. The food was decent, but I felt that it was a bit expensive for the portion size. The service was good, however, I don't think I will be returning as there are better dining options available.

Food was less than average. Ordered the “steak sandwich” which I viewed on the website before we arrived and ordered that which was a char grilled steak with all the trimmings bacon, tomato, egg, onion beetroot etc, what I got was a sandwich made up of strips of very tough old roast beef with no steak in sight !! The egg looked and tasted as if it had been cooked hours before. The bread was hard and dry as well .When I approached the waiter she said it’s not on the menu as a steak sandwich it’s a steak roll. They had not had the website menu changed. Whatever it was supposed to be it was disgusting. My partner had the beef burger which was no better very dry and tasteless. Not the first time we’ve had average food will not be back!!

My partner and I had nachos at this restaurant and they were not cooked properly. They were lukewarm and drenched in too much chutney. I hardly ate any of it and ended up paying $47 for a meal that was not satisfying. I was very disappointed with the experience.

After waiting 1 1/2 hours for our meal, our drinks and food were forgotten. The waitress never returned despite us having to keep asking for updates. We were then told we would be charged full price, even though a party of 12 before us left. This was not the first negative experience we've had at this restaurant, and it seems to be getting worse each time we visit. We will not be returning and are very disappointed.

We went for dinner with my family .The staff were very nice and friendly .we took our dogs there's as well .We sat outside with our dogs .The meals were very nice and lots on your plate. Prices are average. We ordered the Pancakes to take home they were very yummy as well .my teenage boys loved them Would visit again when we come back to Ballarat
