The Bream Hole - Ballina

This is definitely the best fish and chips I've had in Australia. It was such a delightful meal! I ordered the battered special for $12, while my partner chose the crumbed option. The oil was fresh and clean, which is a rarity for me—I often experience heartburn after fried food, but not this time. In addition to the fantastic food, the restaurant was impeccably clean; it was so spotless you could eat off the floor. I’d give it a full 5 stars. Thank you very much!

I was pleased to discover a restaurant that serves crumbed whiting. The chips were excellent, and the calamari was good as well. Although it took a bit longer than I expected, the two young women at the counter were doing an impressive job and were very friendly and helpful.

Fantastic fish and chips at an excellent price, with gluten-free options available. The fish and calamari are fresh and crispy, and the chips are on point. What more could you want? I highly recommend it!

Cash only is very dodgy to me, the oil was dirty and you could smell it outside, very soggy batter no crunch to anything, very over priced.
