There 's been a refit since last visit, nicer looking inside but less friendly than when orders were taken at the tables. The server was quite rude when I was trying to explain my dietary restrictions and ask for substitutions saying you can 't pick and choose it has to be on the menu , it 's not rocket science to take a couple of things off a breakfast. My food arrived with items containing gluten in after all that anyway. It makes travelling and food such a problem when this happens. I don 't enjoy being made to feel like a nuisance when I just want some basic sustenance. Dietary restrictions: Very poor understanding of the issues. But they did at least have GF bread. I think they are trying to get rid of the truck drivers all together now , over priced food and drink . I ordered beans On toast as I wasn’t paying £10 for a breakfast and the price of a coffee on top. They couldn’t even get that order right ! Never again , Newton Moore all the way now . This place used to be an authentic greasy spoon. It's now some lame attempt at an American Diner. I ordered chips, black pudding and egg. All three were undercooked and there was plastic on my black pudding. The coffee was filth. Worst meal I've ever paid a tenner for, has massively gone downhill. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
