The two women working at the Ground Espresso Bar were very courteous and incredibly helpful. They went out of their way to accommodate my girlfriend and me. I would highly recommend this place for some delicious food and a rejuvenating tea.
Located on the main road from Ballymena to Antrim, this service station is bustling with activity. However, parking is limited. Upon visiting Ground, I found that there were only a few food options available, all of which appeared to have been sitting out for the entire day. With only four other people in the cafe, the service was slow and inefficient. Despite being a new establishment, there were no plug sockets or phone charging points available. The tea was freshly made with tea leaves, which was a nice touch. Overall, with some improvements in attention to detail, this place could potentially be good.
Our coach stop on this service station for toilet. We are amazed that there were great choice of restaurant being offered. Our coach driver was given a free meal card. A staff went to our bus and offered hot water as one of the passenger needs a cup of hot water and the staff did not let the girls carry them to the bus but she bring it to the bus herself.
Excellent service station with excellent restaurant inside. I had Chopped for myself and my wrap was served beautifully. Ground coffee shop serves proper coffee, and the Abra burger are to die for.
