Blakes Crab House - Baltimore

I detected an ammonia smell on my crabs. Perhaps I made a mistake in purchasing the picking crabs. Sellers should be cautious when offering this potentially harmful product to customers.

The staff and service was awesome! Great bang for the buck! 1 dozen XL crabs, 1 pound of snow crab, and 2 pounds of steamed shrimp! A value-priced king's feast!Food: 5/5

I ordered twelve large female crabs, but they were cold, small, and dry. I should have gone to Corner Crab House instead. I will never purchase food from Blake's again. Rating: 1 out of 5 for the food.

The first time I visited, the crabs were perfectly cooked, hot, and delicious. However, on my return visit, some of the crabs were overdone and seemed to have been reheated with fresh ones. They were still edible but the difference was noticeable. Overall, I would rate the food 4 out of 5.
