Every bite was flavorful and the serving size was neither under or overwhelming it was absolutely perfect. I had the brisket skillet which included rosemary potatoes, savory brisket, wilted spinach and cheddar cheese. The overall vibe was intimate and warm and their musical playlist was on
The restaurant is located in a rather unassuming building quite easy to miss. Its interior is minimalistic. The restaurant was comfortably filled with seemingly satisfied patrons. My daughter and I both ordered the Breakfast Brisket (beef, potatoes, and vegetable). Our food was executed perfectly. The food was appealing for the eyes as well as the stomach. We?ll try the other dishes on the menu when we visit Baltimore in the future.
Everything is made from scratch from the delicious jalapeño cheddar corn muffins, to the breads used for the specials, to the house made turkey sausage and the gluten free pancakes. Excellent service and cuisine. Chef is flexible if you have dietary requests. The best shrimp and grits ever! I highly recommend!!
A gem in the rough! delicious food, fabulous service. i went with two friends and we ended up sharing because we wanted it all!! and, everything was so fantastic. i am definitely coming back again again! the brunch is to die for! we came at 11am and got seats without a wait. we got a combo shrimp salmon and grits a little extra cost and it was delicious. the french toast was large and yummy as well (i believe they rotate the flavor weekly.
I stumbled upon this, by accident, after visiting the 32nd St market and I'm glad I did! I like to try a place a few times before making judgement, just in case the first time was a fluke. I'll tell you this place delivers amazing food every time. I have gotten their Shrimp and greats (phenomenal) and the chicken and waffles; and my girl has gotten the pancakes and the brisket hash (delicious), which almost made me jealous of my choice. The service was one of the best I've had in the city; and that includes the fancy places in downtown. Delmoni (sorry if I misspelled the name) was a pleasure to talk to and had no problems explaining the menu and the history of the shop. He also hooked both of us up with a glass of their house cucumber lemonade spritzer, which sounds weird but is great; now I get one every time I go! Long story short if you are looking for a fair priced and amazingly delicious breakfast/lunch spot on a Saturday or Sunday, this place should be at the top of your list.
