La Folie Wine Bar & Steak Frites

This place is a great gem on the squareQuiet and different than mostly anywhere else on the blockFor starters, the service is really top notch.

Just moved to the city about a month ago and saw that this place was new.

I really didn't think that a somewhat-fancy wine/cheese place in the middle of dives and Nacho Mama's on the Canton square location would do well, but

La Marea was a big surprise. We visit the area occasionally and the restaurants are fine. La Marea comes from Westchester where we have many to choose from and it definitely falls into that category. The food was outstanding and the place was very welcoming and comfortable. Can't say enough well. You just have to try it yourself.

Excellent food. The mozzarella and tomato salad was the best I've ever had. Shrimp and scallops over polenta were a wonderful and unique mix of flavors. The menu had a wide variety and the service was wonderful
