Le Bistro Du Village Fka Crepe Du Jour

I’m sure you’ll erase my comment to keep it from others, but here it is: The customer service was awful! The menu was lacking, and the ambiance felt more like a budget eatery than a proper restaurant. It’s also not at all kid-friendly; they don’t even have a changing table in the restroom. We felt completely disrespected and mistreated by the staff, who were unfriendly and rude from the moment we arrived. This place may have been good in the past, but it certainly isn’t anymore. I wouldn’t recommend going there—it’s a waste of time, money, and patience!

French onion soup, lentil soup, steak fritas, crepe florentine and a creme Brule and it was all delicious. I wish more people would come here. The owner was super kind and we will definitely be going back for date nights. Support small businesses!

This charming little French restaurant in Roland Park left a wonderful impression on me. I ordered the crepe Florentine, and it was absolutely divine! I also tried the soup of the day, which was a spicy tomato soup that was so delicious I couldn’t resist getting a takeout portion for my husband to enjoy at home. My friend and I were the only patrons during our visit, so I hope the restaurant is thriving; I would love to come back for dinner sometime!

This restaurant is a true hidden gem. The food is outstanding, and the prices are quite reasonable considering the quality. We started with the escargot as our appetizer. While the presentation could have been better, the dish itself was excellent, and the accompanying bread was just perfect. For our main courses, we tried the Duck Confit and the Crêpe Toulousaine, both of which were absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this place and I can't wait to return.

Very enjoyable and to my surprise not crowded and we still got our food quickly.All in all a very good first French dinner my wife and I had.
