Noir Lounge - Baltimore

Is this an upscale restaurant? I don’t think so. My experience here was disappointing. The only highlight was the waiter—she was incredibly friendly and did an amazing job managing both the bar and the floor all on her own. Unfortunately, I ordered an appetizer that wasn’t ready, and when I finally got the crab cakes, they were way too salty—definitely the worst crab cakes I've ever had. I decided to try dessert, but they were out of that too. The ambiance was strange, with the lights flickering from dim to bright, which didn’t really work for me. Overall, not a place I’d recommend.

I went out for a birthday dinner with my friends, and we all had a wonderful time. My friend particularly enjoyed the food. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the dishes were very tasty!

So I visited Noir on Friday for the first time in a couple of years. To note I went when they first opened and really enjoyed myself for happy hour. This time me and my friends went at night because we wanted some hookah and listen to music. So when we get there the security guard was nice and told us the upstairs wasn?t open for hookah yet. This is an all around 5 for party-lounge-luxury. The food menu is exceptional every single dish I?ve tried is delicious. The drinks are wonderful. Service is unmatched! They are quick and courteous. They have indoor and outdoor seating great spots for photo ops. Again another one of those great Baltimore gems that people don?t realize exist.

However, as soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a cozy, high-quality bar vibe that felt more like a hidden gem.
