We sat at the bar and the bartender explained to us the history of the physical bar and how the building procured it after it sailed internationally on a ship in the early 1900's. Great spot to grab dinner and drinks.

Well we love it here . The food is good , but please don’t forget the details , it makes a difference . Not everyone drinks liquor, please always have fresh brewed iced tea , the pot pie was excellent but vegetables were crunchy . The bread on a sandwich seemed stale , and dessert was just put on a plate , no whip cream , no presentation . Last but not least , why play music when no one can hear it . The food is good here , but I hope they Improve on items mentioned . It does Make a difference . Also the Caesar salad said “grilled “ It was not grilled at all . The food you get should be how it is described on the menu .

TL;DR: Very good food and drinks in a cozy atmosphere. It's a yes. Came in solo on a Friday night, looking for a drink or two and something to eat. I tried the fried oysters to start, and they were very, very good half a dozen plump, perfectly fried oysters with a delicious spicy sauce on the side. On the strength of the fried oysters, I decided to go for the fish and chips for dinner. Whoever is running that fryer really knows their business. Overall impression is that they care about what they're doing. Recommended.
