This was our fourth time back here since last March. Each time, we requested outside seating. We love the fact that tables are far apart from each other’s and they have an excellent heating system outside. Our original reservation was for lunch on Saturday, but the restaurant called us three hours ahead of our reservation to let us know it was too windy for outside eating. The next day, it was perfect weather and we were able to reschedule. We ate brunch/lunch with two friends and everything was delicious from the fish and chips to the shrimp grits to the burger etc.... Such great food!

Great atmosphere whether it’s with family or on a date. All of the food was amazing. Highly recommend going with whatever the chef’s special is, that kitchen team knows what they’re doing. We were talking about their rigatoni for three days lol

Why try Rye? It's hands down one of the best restaurants in good ole Balmor, hon! Perched next to Sagamore Distillery in the Port Covington area, the restaurant is near the water in a rustic setting. The service is amazing and the food is out of this world. Not being able to decide on one of their traditional cocktails, the server asked what I was in the mood for. They brought me back a concoction of all sorts of yummy ingredients in a martini glass. Thank you, may I have another? Yes, I did. My friends and I began with the crabcake appetizer and East Coast oysters. Entrees included the Cider-Braised Pork Shoulder, Wood Grilled Rockfish, Blackened Catfish, and Famous Southern Fried Chicken. Pineapple Upside Down Cake finished off a fantastic meal of three courses and cocktails. The service was excellent, as well as every single dish we tried.
