Sal's Seafood - Baltimore

The seafood here is incredibly fresh and delicious. I enjoyed the fried crab cake sandwich and the whole Branzini, both of which were fantastic. The owner, Sal, was very welcoming and had a wealth of knowledge. I even got to see a photo of him when he first started in the fish business. His prices are unbeatable for such fresh seafood. I highly, highly recommend this place!

Hello! I just had the crab creamy soup, and it was absolutely delicious and packed with crab. This soup could easily be double or triple the price at other restaurants!

Crab cakes: bursting with genuine crab flavor, they are light and fluffy, unlike most Baltimore crab cakes that tend to be overrated and heavy with oil. These are the best crab cakes I've tasted in Baltimore in the last four years. The sautéed vegetables were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked—not overdone at all. As for the atmosphere, it’s relaxed and unpretentious, providing a nice escape from the chaotic tourist scene just a couple of blocks away. Enjoy a lovely glass of wine at the bar in the heart of the market while savoring your delicious seafood from Sal's.

They have great seafood. My husband and I get the red snapper fried and shrimp basket. Simply delicious! I also that they have old bay, hot sauce and other condiments to use.

Everything that I had was excellent. The crab chowder was creamy with good chunks of crab. The crab pretzel was something new for me but very rich and delicious. The crab cake had big chunks of crab and was fried perfectly.
