Their homemade ginger beer is perfect for a Moscow mule, but I recommend it only if you really love ginger. Both of their punches are also delightful. Check out the pictures for more, but definitely stop by—there's fantastic music, excellent service, and great drinks.
Exceptional service and fantastic drinks! I recently relocated to the DMV area, and my mom and I stayed at a hotel nearby. The Black Eyed Susan is not only cleverly named but also a uniquely delicious drink. I will absolutely return when my family comes to visit!
I visited this restaurant on May 5, 2018, after celebrating a 40th birthday at Mustang Alley's. The ambiance is great, but it's pretty small and has limited seating. I ordered an orange crush, but honestly, all I could taste was vodka—definitely not very smooth. However, the place has a nice vibe and is located in the heart of Fells.
We will definitely be back here! If you don't look closely you'll miss this hidden gem! Steve was out bartender and he was amazing. Great cozy place!
Boy do I love this place. Hidden in the basement of the historical and haunted Admiral Fell Inn, the hotel tavern shouldn 't be missed. Atmosphere: No doubt one of a kind. The bar is frequently visited by the local ghost tour. The basement dining area a few rooms away used to be an infirmary/morgue during the civil war. Back to the bar. It 's tiny, but the main words that come to mind are dank and musty. Decorations are outdated. Lighting is dim. A fluorescent glow lurches out from behind the bar. Drinks and Service: Only one bartender has been there during my visits and he is a class act. A friendly guy with a creepy tinge, slinging drinks like a champ. They always have a house punch available. Get it. Big fan of Moscow mules here too. Nothing knock your socks off great, but everything is just right. Fells point creepy tip: Head to the side street behind Thames St. (think it 's Shakespeare St. to see the old Fell family crypt. I dare you to read The Shining, stay at the Inn, and wander into the bar late at night. Queue In The Mood by Glenn Miller and Have a ball Jackieee!
