Carmine's Pizza House - Balwyn North

I tried this restaurant last week and was very impressed. The pizza was delicious and the service was fantastic. The shop may be a bit old, but it is definitely worth a visit.

I left Carmine's to pick up a pizza I had ordered. An older employee came outside to smoke a cigarette, then went back inside and started applying tomato paste to the pizza bases and putting meat on the pizzas with his bare hands - without washing them or wearing gloves. This lack of hygiene was very disappointing to see, especially in a food establishment.

Pizza plays a significant role in our lives, sometimes it's there and sometimes it's not. I have been to Carmines in the past and unfortunately, the pizza has not improved. It remains mediocre at best. While it's difficult to find exceptional pizza, settling for subpar options is never satisfying. However, the service at Carmines is commendable, with friendly staff willing to lend a listening ear.

If they want pizza, they can taste good trips this balwyn institution alwys supplies. 2 family pizzas to pick up, at $20 is really good worth

Fast service and the pizza was great! There has been a big improvement since undergoing a change in ownership.
