Bamboo Mexican House - Ban Houayxay

We never expected this great Mexican food flavor in the middle of nowhere. One of the best Mexican foods to date compare with many great names in Bangkok. She kills it recommended to make a reservation or call the owner to check if they open. Will def come back if you have a chance.

Our group of 10 called and ordered our food. We were served amazing food beef enchiladas, chicken nachos, beans and cheese burritos, and delicious salsa and chips. So great food in a beautiful atmosphere filled with green, quiet, clean. I recommend this experience in Chiang Khong!

Delicious homemade cooked foods made from the highest quality ingredients. They also made bread at home! I'd say it's an absolute must while you're in Chiang Khong. A little hidden from the main road, but easily accessible on foot. Make the Verry charismatic owner a favor and call before visiting with more than 2 people. Kitchen closes at 7:00, but you can stay longer.

I stopped here for dinner with a motorcycle group and was very surprised at the taste and quality of the food. What a fantastic dinner! Mem and her mom teaw were fantastic hosts in their beautiful restaurant. I will definitely be back for more! I would suggest you have a double check-up time of the opening, but don't miss this jewel of a restaurant in Chiang Khong.

Delicious Mexican food and great service. My personal favorites are the chili con carne bowl and beef fajitas. The owner is super friendly and a joy to talk to. She's a busy lady though and it's best to call ahead using the Google Maps phone number here to make sure Bamboo will be open the night you wish to come.
