Hyde Seek - Ban Mai

Restaurant quality has gone down since many years agonit opened with top chef. Probably changed the owner. Food taste just okay nothing special. Expensive for dinner about 300-600 baht per dish but lunch they have set menu targeting at business lunch and office workers. They have Happy Hour buy 1 get 1 cocktails from 5-8pm. We ordered a few glasses of the same drink but taste different se are too sweet some are too light. They have couple of people working behind the bar but the standard is not there. Too many staffs around 6-7 in total staffs and bartender standing around doing nothing and talking to each other as there are about 2-3 tables only (same number of tables in the evening as we went 2 time in 2 months). Some staffs are good but some are Terrible. It's okay if you wanna quick hang out after work but don't expect good food and decent cocktails.

Very average food and Ribs were mushy as well as too sweet. Cheap buy 1 free 1 beer and cocktails at Happy Hour before 8pm too

This place is no longer the cool hip gastrobar that it used to be. I haven't been back in years so I specifically came back to recapture the nostalgia of my last visit when it was still next to Cafe tartiné. It used to be a cheeky and fun hip place run by 3 Swedish mixologists with a mean pulled pork burger and a cocktail list numbering 15 pages. Now it's just a regular hippie bar with a much smaller menu that was horribly uninspiring. I felt underdressed, as they now try to look a bit more upmarket befitting their location in atheneé tower. I ended up having a salmon burger which, while not bad, wasn't as whimsical as the old menu used to be. I asked for garlic aioli (they used to have that previously) and was met with a confused stare...ended up with mayonnaise. At least they were able to make a decent cosmopolitan (that wasn't on the menu) when I asked. Staff turned out to be friendly, and there was live music going on, but unfortunately I don't see myself coming back, I'll just have to cherish the memories I used to have. Cosy bar with elegant ambience and wine map. Suitable for formal instead of a casual that need something in style etiquette dinner

Good taste, but high price. You can order a lunch package that can fall in.
