Dang Patong Phuket - Ban Talat Nua

Delicious Thai cuisine! Inexpensive and the staff are very friendly and attentive. I had the stir fried morning glory (kang kong), minced beef basil rice and a seafood tom yum koong fragrant and tasty!

Rumors has it that their mango sticky rice is the best in Phuket. I disagree. I think its the best in Thailand! All the dishes we ordered were delicious. Great value and portion was generous. The servers were friendly too :

I think they live up to the claim of having the best mango sticky rice in Patong! The glutinous rice was fragrant and well cooked and the mango was sweet and juicy. We also had the tomyum noodle soup with shrimp and it was heavenly, perfect for a rainy day in Phuket.

Reasonably busy Resturant near Bangla Road. Busy atmosphere and good vibe. Service was reasonable. The food was overall good. Average PadThai with a variety of meats to choose from. Chrispy Prawns were very good although we found several prawns that were not cleaned properly and still had the black vein inside. Average Thai prices for food.

Good place for breakfast or lunch. But it’s a little bit hot inside during sunny day. Overall food was decent. Mango sticky rice deserved a shoutout.
