Gilberry Fayre - Banbridge

I had breakfast at this restaurant after arriving on an early morning flight. The food was fantastic as usual, and the staff were friendly. We always enjoy coming here! I highly recommend trying the breakfast.

This was recommended to me as a nice place to take my mum for lunch, I'm glad we went, it's a fabulous spot. Big car park and I'm guessing it's an old cottage converted to a cafe/restaurant as it's so quaint and attractive. Its deceptively big inside as there is an upstairs area but we were lucky to get a downstairs table straight away as it was really busy, a cycling club was using the outside tables for coffees and inside was almost full. There was a decent lunch menu but we went for two all day breakfast fry's which were really really good, and the pot of tea for two was enough for about six lol There were loads of home made sausage rolls, scones, cakes and traybakes which looked gorgeous my mum had coffee cake which she said was beautiful. High praise! Gilberry Fayre is a wee hidden gem but is obviously well known to its regular customers. We will definitely be back!

Stopped here for a coffee and cake. Selection was impressive and looked home made. Had pineapple slice. Was gorgeous. Sat outside in the sunshine. Highly recommend.

My wife and I decided to return to this quaint little restaurant as it has been over a year since our last visit. The first thing that I noticed was a radio playing quite loudly in the background which really was not needed indeed a relaxing CD in the background would be more beneficial. We notice that the menu was very limited so we decided to share the chicken burger with chips and two cappuccinos. The coffee was good however the chicken burger left a lot to be desired parts of it were quite stringy and tough it obviously was deep fried and really overcooked. I was really sorry to see such a lovely place losing its way as it has so much going for it.
