I ordered Kakuni Bankara (Rm 38), the broth is oily and heavy. In a heavy taste person, so in ok, when eating with the rams and the scalings will taste soup less greasy. The kakuni (brake pig bell) is so good! But note that it comes with fat. So healthy eaters could consider choosing other type of ramen. The Menma (Bamboo shoot) is also delicious and crispy. Chashu not nice. My pane doesn't taste fresh. The part of my bowl is very full. But why don't all rams come with egg? Ni Tamago is classified as additional topping with rm 3.50 cost. When I finished the rams, I realized that the broth was very salty! For the first time, I can't stop the Ramenbrühe! So, yes, it's salty broth, even I as a heavy taster kept the broth to drink 2 sips. Done my green tea pretty fast because of the broth. I thought they usually offer free refill green tea, but no one comes to refill for me... the small cup green tea is rm 5 before taxes... not always refill
Ordered Bankara Ramen Tonkotsu Ramen. Love the thick soup very much however it's too greasy, you could see a layer of oil and lard floating on the soup surface. The more you eat the more greasy you will feel. The chasu was rather thin and the price didn't come with egg, noodle portion was just nice. Environment was ok, with some light music not too crowded. Good to come here once in awhile
Tried the Bankara kakuni ramen. Is pork bone soup with special shoyu. Taste good and if you like strong taste, this is the right option to go with. Clean environment and friendly service. Only fallback is the long waiting hour for them to sever the food. Maybe this is an exceptional case. Price is above average and overall experience is still good.
Non-Halalal This place is my favorite to walk place when I feel like eating Japanese meal and pork. Absolutely love the food option here, especially your delicious Bratpork. I would always go for her signature Kakuni Bankara Ramen if I were looking for noodles, or Buta Kakuni Don with Onsen Tamago and additional Kakuni if I stayed for rice. It's a sinful and happy meal for me, and I'd be over if I'm in KL for more than a day. Staff are really friendly, and it is located on Avenue K, easy access via LRT.
Pork bone soup taste is heavy and rich. It suits you if you like thick taste. I prefer lighter soup base hence this is not my preference. The signature braised pork is superb and it’s a must try! It melts in your mouth.
