The best place if u guys want to have a small gathering while eatin nyonya food. The place is cool and soothing. <br/ <br/ The owner is very chatty so who knows, u can learn a bit secret of nyonya dishes here <br/ <br/ Must try is the kerapu sambal.
Pork free restaurant. Food is good! Not entirely Nyonya, as it has some Portuguese touch to it too. Deco is rustic with wooden furniture and figurines. Must tries: fried chicken, ikan Asam pedas, mutton curry, cendol. Totally recommend this restaurant
Excellent place for Nyonya food. Prices are very reasonable; decor is rustic and quirky; flavours are authentic; chillies are spicy. Coming from a Nyonya family I can tell you this is the real stuff! Be prepared to suffer the after effects. My personal all-time favourites are the ikan cincaru, terung black pepper, sambal terung, stir-fried daun keledek, and sago gula melaka. I've also tried a few of the other stuff. Can't say there is anything to avoid. A great place to host large dinner parties and family gatherings.
Just after our shopping trip, we are in for another treat and this time it is dinner at Mum's Place. Mum's Place brings out the best of Malaysian and local Portuguese cuisine while being inspired by traditional home recipes. With plenty of wooden furniture, wooden statues, carvings and fancy screens, it makes a comfortable setting at Mum's Place. Don't forget to check our some of the signs and quotes too, I guarantee you will have giggle or smile at some of them. To get the best out of Mum's Place it is recommended to share dishes around the table. So grab your friends and family and go have a feast!
