Portsoy Ice Cream - Banff

The flavors vary frequently. During our visit, there were two vegan ice cream options available - chocolate and salted caramel. The flavors were delicious, but the texture was a bit inconsistent (not completely smooth).

Attentive staff, fabulous food, and comfortable rooms with en-suite showers are just some of the highlights of this restaurant. Each room comes with tea and coffee facilities, a hairdryer, and iron. Guests can also enjoy the on-site bar and restaurant, which is dog-friendly. While the food may be a bit pricey for those on a budget, the breakfast choices are lovely. The spacious Room 12 features a large ensuite and can accommodate families with two singles and a large double bed. The room also includes two chairs, a bistro table, plenty of hanging space and shelving, a TV, and a dresser, though there is no window view. Nearby activities include a picturesque harbor and filming locations for Peaky Blinders and whisky galore. The town is quiet and safe, with plenty of walking opportunities along the accessible coast path, though it may be hilly. Food and drinks in the area are varied and of good quality, with takeout options nearby.
