The restaurant occupies one side of the chalet, while the other side has a more pub-like atmosphere. I was impressed to find that the California rolls were made with real crab, a first for me as someone who has sampled sushi in various cities throughout my life. The fish was incredibly fresh and flavorful, thanks to being shipped here three times a week from Vancouver. The service was friendly and efficient, and although the portions were on the smaller side, it was probably for the best not to overeat while skiing. The pricing was average, making it a worthwhile option for those looking for something different than the typical fries and burgers. I would definitely recommend trying this restaurant for a unique dining experience.
After a long day of skiing and snowboarding in the freezing cold, the ramen at Kuma Yama was the perfect pick-me-up after traveling for several days in the United States and Canada. As Asians, we are always searching for good ramen or rice dishes, and this was a true gem. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive. It couldn't have been any better. Thank you, Kuma Yama.
The Ramen at this restaurant is excellent for warming up during lunch while skiing. They offer a kids menu, perfect for parents who want to enjoy sushi or ramen while their children prefer kid-friendly options. The service was quick and extremely friendly. I will definitely return here on my next skiing trip to the Lake!
Amazing as always. The ramen was delicious and I love their edamame with spices and truffle oil! Not to mention the amazing views.
The sushi served at this restaurant is horrible...definitely worst we've ever had. The rice tasted funny; partially overcooked and the rest hard. It tasted wrong! The view is beautiful and we have it one star for having a pretty good children's menu available. Would definitely recommend NOT going!
