Melissa's Missteak - Banff

The dessert was not as advertised as on the menu. I ordered the brownie conspiracy. it should be two brownies, with vanilleeis and whip cream. the brownie should be the main piece. what I got was a brownie maybe the size of a "two bite brownie" between the charges of ice. very disappointed. they advertise a brownie dessert, I ordered a brownie dessert, I expect a brownie dessert. not a huge bowl of ice with brownie balls.

Ordered half-stand baby back ribs not much meat, soak or taste. slow service. will not come back.

Read after the reviews I expected it better. French was terrible. the prime rib was warmed over and probably the worst piece I had in my life, kartoffels with mash were moderate, children had wings and fingers and they were satisfied. Spouse had cordon bleu, which was acceptable, but not great.

Great eating, nice, friendly staff. a must if they remain in banff

Surprise to us on our anniversary outing: Thursday was all you can eat prime rib buffet AND live music. It was a family event to start off the holidays and it was better than we expected. The new location brings back memories from our courting days. Thanks for an excellent evening of food and entertainment! We will be back!
