Plain of Six Glaciers Tea House - Banff

Almost identical to Lake Agnes tea house. This is a very beautiful location and facility that provides tasty (chocolate cake)! treats and drinks at high prices. Definitely recommend enjoying the views and the treats here during a break in your hiking!

Like everyone said the crowds drop off as you leave the lake. That being said, parking is a big issue. We got lucky and found a spot just below main parking. At 9am it filled up in 5 minutes. Glaciers and views were incredible as was meal and cake at tea house. Worth the money for the experience. A must do hike

The hike was an experience not to miss. The setting was tremendous. On our early morning visit, we felt the food was okay in relation to the cost. We each had the $24 combo special of soup or chili with coffee and the the chocolate cake. The tea house adds a lot to the total hike and scenery. Best if you bring cash, but they will take a credit card plus a fee. Service was super! Highly recommend the whole experience!

We enjoyed a visit to this tea house after a long walk up the Lake Agnes trail followed by the Six Glaciers trail. The chocolate cake here was great and strong coffee was good too. We preferred this tea house to the Lake Agnes one, there is more choice on the menu, it's less crowded and cheaper too! The staff were obviously very busy but were welcoming and friendly.

Wonderful homemade fare. Strange position as you can see it from the glacier, not the lake. Stangely , Our Waitress had weeping imbirtigo on her face- off putting to some but she was really lovely.
