The Claddagh Irish Pub - Bangor

As an Irish descendant, I was disappointed to find that despite Irish cuisine traditionally being centered around potatoes, the restaurant did not serve any plant-based meat options. It was confusing to see an Irish restaurant offering Asian and vegan dishes. It's important for restaurants to stay true to their cultural identity. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

The atmosphere is a little dim. The service is friendly, but sometimes inattentive. The food is quite good. We tried the steak, tots, and vegetables (4/5), the ranch chicken sandwich and tots (4/5), and the potstickers (4/5). They have a full bar and a good selection of beer and wine.

Had eaten here several years ago and enjoyed our meal. No different this time around. Attentive service and we both had a good steak done just as requested (all too hard to find) . Quiet atmosphere where you can enjoy a conversation. We were staying at the Hampton Inn across the road so all of a three minute walk very convenient.

I had the pasta primavera, it was amazing my wife had brat and mash, absolutely delicious and very fresh.... The service was incredible, We didn't have to wait for a single thing. 200% recommend going here.....
