The Tarratine - Bangor

The seating is beautiful, the atmosphere inviting, and the service exceptional— precisely what we’ve come to expect from this top-notch dining establishment. If you find yourself in Bangor, don’t miss the chance to dine in this historic building and enjoy food as it was meant to be experienced.

The staff was excellent, and the drinks were fantastic. The food was good, but considering the higher prices, the portion sizes were definitely insufficient. If there had been larger portions or if the meal we ordered was more substantial, I would have rated it a 4 or 5 stars. However, I believe it's not fair to pay these prices for something that feels more suitable for a home-cooked meal.

This is a fantastic place with rich history. The service and atmosphere are excellent. While the entree options are a bit limited, I'm confident that no one will be disappointed with any choice. I highly recommend the lamb frame with pistachio crust and roasted tomatoes—it's amazing! We’re definitely planning to visit again.

What a FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE! Food, service, atmosphere. Everything was PERFECT! came here for our wedding party and could have asked for a more attentive staff and a better culinary adventure!! Could not recommend enough!

Beautiful club turned restaurant with a rich history. The wait and host staff were friendly and accommodating. The food was so delicious!! I got the lamb (see picture) and my husband got the filet and crème brûlée. Despite the incredible dining experience, the most memorable part was exploring the rest of the building, playing games like shuffleboard billiards, and having drinks on the rooftop while enjoying the view of Bangor. I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting!
