Ordered 2 chicken sandwich... which were huge... total was 420 Dalasi which is a pretty nice price. Small additional comment. If you order food.... be very patient ... it takes a while even when you are the only customer.
Dont liked it! We waited our good 1 1/2 our, rice was cold, I ordered grilled chicken but it was more like boiled fries was turned to boiled potatoes and carrots... sure they tried they best but still... Huge disapointment! Beer was cold!
If you want Banjul belly eat here. Boxing Day group Of us all eat here Xmas day we are all ill we had the same thing off the menu. We eat late lunch about 4.30pm So by all means pop in food poisoning is free.
Kemo is very friendly, reasonable prices for quality food and you learn a lot about local life.
Don’t go there! Cheating with prices, horrible food, minimum 1 hour and 45 minutes waiting time for simple meals. Rude staff. We got there and a local guy brought us menu and sat down with us talking all the time. And it took forever, cause we had to wait an hour and 45 mins for the food. One of the meals we ordered was seafood soup, but that was more of a sea water with instant chicken broth stock cube. No sign or taste of seafood. The second dish was chicken domoda. Rice was ice cold, domoda sauce was disgusting and chicken was so raw that I thought it’s gonna run away from my plate. I told the guy that I’m not eating this domoda, told him why and decided to pay for drinks and for the soup. Then he got back to us telling us to pay more than we should according to menu that we saw. So I argued and he came with a different menu telling that he made a mistake and the one that we saw while ordering was from 2007. So that’s when the drama started, more locals came to us shouting. Only after we told them that we will describe it all online, they told us to give them whatever and go away. Don’t ever come here for food.
