Delicious! start to finish. beautiful wine, fabulous service, excellent food. I can't wait to return.

We had a holiday in this city and every month we couldn't wait to eat there! it is our favorite place to eat in the opposite! eating is amazing and it is local property of a man and a woman. service every time is wonderful. I can tell them they need a reservation for the wonderful restaurant!

Would not have chosen any other Restaurant in Banner Elk N C to celebrate my birthday , with my family, other then L P on Maine. Whether a Special Occasion, or just a night out for Great Food, you will Always feel welcomed. The Entire staff share the same philosophy of owners Patrick Bagbey, Executive Chef and Laurie Bagbey, Hostess, that everyone is Special and that is how your treated. So make a reservation and be prepared to enjoy Amazing food, Cozy ambiance. and an Exceptionally Attentive staff.

Wow! I was floored that when I asked the waiter to please ask the chef to leave the aioli sauce off the top of the bison burger I was told he could not do that. I explained that I am allergic to egg and the waiter confirmed the aioli sauce is made from eggs. The waiter restated that the chef would not be willing to leave the sauce off the top of the burger… even though the burger is made fresh for each customer. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant is fresh and modern. The restaurant states that it has vegan options, is vegetarian friendly, and has gluten free options. I cannot understand how owners who go out of their way to project an upbeat positive vibe would deny a customer’s simple request to leave a sauce off the top of a burger. There was a pooch at the table near us who seemed to feel right at home in a plush dog bed with a fresh bowl of water. I wish I had been made to feel as welcome!

I am a female solo traveler. Typically when I go into a restaurant of this caliber, I am asked to sit at the bar or I am put at a small 2 top in the corner. Not at LP on Main. Matt, the host, sat me at a beautiful table outside.. A four top..... which means they could have sat 4 people there. Katie, my wonderful server, was attentive and kind. Sometimes when you're a female solo traveler you get treated like a pariah, but not at this excellent restaurant. Just go. You won't regret it!
