We ordered The Heavy Hitter: Pulled pork, sausage, brisket, smoked turkey, smoked back ribs four sides. (Fries, potato salad, Mac Cheese and Limas w/ Bacon. All meat was excellent. Cooked and smoked perfectly and literally some of the most tasteful brisket I've ever had. The pages were okay, but not the best I had. The flesh has definitely formed for this fact. (So the Limas had no bacon. The Banana pudding for Dessert was good. I knew before the time it was freshened (they had run out earlier, so it tasted much better the next day, after sitting in the fridge. Overall, I would definitely recommend trying each of the meats here.
The food here was excellent. Got Hushpuppies as an appetizer and they came with the best honey butter I've ever had. In addition, I have the turkey bacon cheddar tacs with Mac and cheese. In which both were absolutely amazing. I'm here. 10/10
The food was good, the service was good, nothing overly outstanding about this barbecue. It was a good value especially considering the location. I did miss having a hot sauce to put on the barbecue and as their spicy was mild to say the least. The pork skins were remarkable with the dry rub seasoning.
We decided to choose The Pedalin? Pig for take out as a late lunch/early dinner. We ordered our food and waited the 30 mins, all was well. We asked for some buns to go with our pork but they said they were running low on supply and to go orders don?t get them. So, we got our food and checked everything in the car and we saw that the ?sides? we got that were supposed to feed at least 3 people each was a toddler serving size so we had to go to the store and buy mac and cheese so we had enough. They also just threw our sauces into our bag without thinking about the fact they would spill AND they didn?t even label which sauce was which so we had to guess and ended up just buying a bottle from the store. The pulled pork was okay and the brisket was good but it was VERY overpriced for what we got and we had high hopes for this place, but we definitely will not be back.
The meat flavors got a 5 star but the sides took a star away. Went an hour before closing and all sides were cold and tasteless. Tried to replace them with hot fries. Were also out of the sausage and chicken which we really wanted to try. Kids meals are over priced as you get 3 small tenders and fries for $9 plus you have to add a $3 drink for a kid is getting more than adult meals. Waitress was super friendly. Lots of sauces to choose from.
