Point Break Fish & Chips - Banora Point

Avoid this place at all costs. If only the guys (maybe the owner) attitude was as bright as his Hawaiian shirt. Unfortunately, that's where the good vibes stopped. Poor service can occasionally be excused by excellent food. This is not one of those places. Yuck. Such a shame.

A great place to stop if you are running early for the Gold Coast Airport, free parking across the road and the drive to the airport is under 10 minutes. The café is located opposite the foreshore, we ordered a serve of calamari and barramundi and chips, both were cooked to perfection and we sat on the grass in the park opposite enjoying a pleasant Friday morning before our flight back home.

I come down from Brisbane and visit this shop every time. You get what you pay for ,always fresh and big servings. Very clean shop and friendly staff. Highly recommend you pay it a visit

Fish had no taste, was soggy , and expensive. probably the worst fish and chips i've had. am new to the area and looking for a local fish and chip shop however i will be making the drive over the hill elsewhere from now on.
