Palaweno's Chaolong House - Bantayan

The chaolong is the Filipino version of the Vietnamese noodle soup, Pho. Although it is mainly found in Puerto Princesa, I was pleasantly surprised to see it at a small restaurant in Bantayan. That day I was starving and ordered a chicken chaolong (60 pesos) and a baguette with egg that seemed like heaven to me. The chaolong was nothing like the one I tried in Palawan but it was good, the service was friendly, and the outdoor tables on the street are pleasant in the evenings in Bantayan.
