Harbor Oceanside Koa - Bar Harbor

Just leave our stay in one of the basic cabins for a weekend and it was the best experience! Showers and bathrooms were so clean and they let us borrow a heating for our cabin that felt so warm! They had planned activities during the day and we got free s’mores! Very dog friendly as there are so many places to go your dog. Fire pits and grills right in front of the cabin. We ordered ice and firewood as soon as we checked where they took us to our cabin. Would Definitley stay here again!

The most beautiful campsite I've ever stayed in. The staff was incredibly nice above the top. They put us in the most perfect website with a pine falling look. Can't wait to go back! Rooms: 5/5

We love this campground! We have only stayed on ocean sites and nothing compares. The views all day long are incredible and the sunsets amazing. The star gazing was incredible as everyone kept their outside lights off. For three nights we just sat and looked up and were perfectly content. Friendly staff nice amenities and close to Acadia. No sewer hookup for our 4 night stay but wasn’t a problem.

This was a hard place to rate. Our non oceanfront tent site was awful. The far end of the site was probably about 15 feet from the road. No, it was worse than that. 15 feet from what was a parking lot used for campers staying in cabins on the other side of the campground. They arrived and their lights shined all over our site. The advice from the staff was to park our car so that it blocked part of the site and we didn 't appreciate that advice until later.However, we had a friend staying in a cabin that we visited and it was beautiful well furnished, excellent patio spot with a firepit and Adirondack chairs.Another criticism was that for a KOA, the activities were less than we 're accustomed to and most of them had an additional fee attached.So, my advice... if you are planning on camping, find another place and you 'll enjoy yourself more especially if you plan on staying in a tent. If you are interested in something a bit closer to glamping this could be a great place to stay while you visit Acadia.

The beautiful state of Maine is fortunate to have this amazing KOA location for campers. The oceanfront view and sunsets are unbeatable. The KOA team is customer service at its very best. The property is always clean. We've been several times and we've already made reservations for next season. Highly Recommend!Rooms: 5/5
