There is a nice breakfast and a coffee bar that had much better choice than we expected. The staff was warm, friendly and efficient. They were quick to answer questions or meet our needs. You have thought of some important details, such as no need for a room key and a small shelf outside any room to give up your coffee as you redeem. The hotel is conveniently located on a quiet street, just a few minutes' walk from downtown. Had a great time and would return to QAR's next visit.
My husband and I, along with our 13 month old daughter stayed at Queen Anne's Revenge in mid September. We had a great time here, and really enjoyed the small bar and bartender Tommy! We visited every night for a drink and played some shuffle board. The Inn was newly remodeled and our room was very comfortable with an in-room AC, and very comfortable bed and blankets. Inn was a quick walk to downtown Bar Harbor, but far enough away that it felt like a quiet get-a-way. The staff was extremely kind and provided a pack and play for us, and even did a load of our laundry for us. I would definitely revisit Queen Anne's again.
My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights this past week and had a wonderful experience! The room was very clean which is the most important part for me. The staff was lovely and we were offered complimentary champagne upon arrival. The hotel is in a great location within walking distance of the downtown. The complimentary breakfast each morning was also delicious with lots of pastries, bagels, oatmeal, juices, and coffee to choose from!
Loved staying here, the aesthetic of being in a luxury boat cabin aboard a pirate ship was charming. The room was kept very clean, and the bed was so soft we slept like the dead. The inn had all of the personality and social experience of a bed and breakfast with the privacy and amenities of a hotel. Delicious continental breakfast with mostly muffins and pastries were a perfect start to our hiking adventures before going off to brunch. Inn staff were very helpful, and QAR was close to downtown bar harbor restaurants and shops that we mostly walked everywhere. We had a few evenings at their small wine, rum and beer bar and found some new rums and mixed drinks that we will definitely be looking for in our state. If you get a chance to stay here, do it, you won't be sorry that you did.
We overall loved our stay here! The location was great- we could walk to everything in town, but far enough away to not hear all the noise. The Staff was all wonderful and friendly- we enjoyed talking with all the bartenders. The Inn is super cute and our room was great, despite the bed being loud anytime we moved. Our room faced the sunrise so it got bright way too early- better light blocking window treatments would be an easy solution. Breakfast was mediocre, nice pastry/bakery type selection but other options would be nice too. The porch was a nice spot to sit and drink our morning coffee, and the swing was a nice evening resting spot. The bottle of wine and sweet note for our anniversary were also appreciated! We would definitely stay at QAR if we ever come back to Maine!
