Alamdar Guest House - Bāramūla

Perfect place for budget travellers and Sahil is very helpful guy regarding the recommendation of the places. He had arranged transportation and helped us solve a problem with the driver. At check-in they received free water bottle and Wi-Fi. His father drives Shikkara at Dal See and he is very cooperative. Although we had a short stay, it was nice and we liked it.

A lot of people have written about the guest house and Sahil the owner. So if I write I will only be repeating the same. We had to extend our stay and we were happily accomodated. Also have to mention about the home cooked for delicious food they serve. Sahil was excellent with his local travel recommendations.A memorable stay, best guest house experience so far for us.

You would understand what Kashmiri hospitality is if you stay here. Loving people... Sahil and his family take care of their guests just like a part of their family. Stayed with a group of 10 ppl twice. They helped us with almost everything in Srinagar Shikara, Cabs, Sight seeing all at prices you would never think of bargaining they make sure their guests aren't deceived.

It was a 4 day honeymoon trip for us to Kashmir. Mr. Sahil and family has made our trip a memorable one. His rooms are budget friendly yet clean. He has helped us in preparing our itinerary and to utilize the days very effectively. Apart from rooms, he had arranged us the vehicle for sight seeing in an affordable rate. The driver he had arranged for us was friendly as well that guy was a good guide too. Also, Sahil has guided us about the places to visit, activities to do, food spots to explore etc etc. We had experienced authentic Kashmiri cuisine prepared by Sahil's family at an affordable rate. Sahil's helping nature helped us a lot during our whole tour. Although we didn't stay in his hotel, still he helped us throughout our journey. Also his place is awesome Next time during srinagar trip will definately stay at his place
