Ihop - Barboursville

The restaurant was wonderful. The server was excellent. The food was average.

The food was perfectly cooked and served hot at this restaurant. Although the service was a bit slow, our server was very friendly. I ordered the sirloin tips with egg whites, hash browns, and New York cheesecake pancakes. My husband opted for the Belgian waffle, which was huge and delicious. The only downside was that the hash browns were crispy on top but soggy underneath. However, the sirloin tips were my favorite dish. See pictures attached.

There were both mice and roaches present during my visit to this IHOP location. I usually enjoy IHOP, but this infested restaurant was a disappointment. It seems we are not the only ones who have noticed the presence of bugs here, as other comments have mentioned it as well. I recommend going to the Ashland location for a better breakfast experience without the infestation. We will not be returning until pest control has been proven effective, so for now, I can only give this restaurant one star and do not recommend it. I have previously enjoyed the breakfast and lunch options here, so it is disappointing to have to give such a low rating. While I have photos of the encounters, I will not be sharing them due to the disgust. Terrible missed half my order and there phone doesn’t work don’t recommend

Waitress brought food and didnt see her anymore after the food was delivered. I had to go find her to get her assistance. Then when she gave us the handheld unit to pay on, it was already at the total pruce page. I hit the arrow to go back and see a 20% tip already has been selected and added. She cost herself an additional $10 by doing that. I am a heavy tipper, but when it is automatically added like she did, the tip will be alot less.
