I only stopped in for a quick coffee, so I can’t speak to the slow service that most reviews describe — but this is a really cool, interestingly-decorated place, perfect for taking a break from shopping in the trendy El Born area. Had a fun time looking at all the cereal boxes displayed on the counter behind the barista/waitress.
Location: Hidden in the Gothic quarter down a small street. Price: 6E upwards per bowl. If you 've been to a cereal cafe before this is nothing new, apart from the giant doughnut, waffle or pancake that is placed on top of the cereal as well... The don 't have an English menu and the owner had limited English which is strange when it was recommended on a 'Time Out ' map of Barcelona. There are a few pre created bowls for you to choose from, the cereal names are universal but use google translate if you 're struggling. 'leche ' is milk ask for regular if you need to). Service is pretty slow but this seems to be a very popular place in the evenings with local teens. Didn 't see any English people in there whilst we were in there, which is always a good sign! There 's table service and you pay at the end. I 'd recommend this as an evening snack/dessert.
