Tried this place out for the first time and we had the ‘Menu del Día’ somewhat pricy for what you get and the quantities were not enough for a hungry Indian like me! (I did ask for more of their delicious daal and they were kind enough to give me a refill). The acoustics and the closeness of all the tables meant it got noisy as the place filled up with lunchers, so we had our desserts outside, where there was plenty of space. Staff were very cool and we did feel ‘at home’ so to speak as it was an informal (yet professional and courteous) atmosphere and any time we asked for something, it was given without fuss or debate. (Like the extra daal and moving to the terrace) That’s a plus for me at any restaurant and it’s what will bring me back…but I’ll be ordering from the main menu. Peaked into the kitchen area for a great shot of that Tandoor oven!
I really enjoy the food. We ordered Dahi puri it was yumm, pork vindalo taco., chicken tikka masala and cheese naan and in dessert Rasmalai Flan which was cherry on the cake
Cozy restaurant, perfect for lunch and dinner. Friendly staff. Reserving a table is easy. The ambiance and decor gives the Indian vibe. I would have given five stars but limited to 4 as the vegetarian options were less. Highly recommend the naans and Rasmalai.
An excellent place to grab a quick curry for lunch. They have a lunchtime tali special which includes two types of currys on a tray, some sauces, some vegetables as well as some roti. Also comes with a wine, beer or soft drink and a dessert. The atmosphere is cheap and cheerful with great Indian style murals on the walls which give it a fun vibe. Worth checking out if you like Indian food.
