Organic Market - Barcelona

I went there just to have a look at the products they had (much more expensive than any other organic shops btw) and saw that the lady was arranging the selves and throwing old bananas. Asked her if I could pick some, she said she had to marked them before. I waited for a bit and saw that she indeed threw them all. I mean, I assumed that as an organic shop they’d be more responsible.. That’s a shame. I mean it’s all marketing there’s nothing behind it.

If you’re in the area of this little market, it’s a great bet if you’re looking for healthy food. There’s an array of choices. The pastor, homemade, is absolutely delicious. Also choices of pizza, salas, tapas and other variety of food. Order your own personally prepared dish at corresponding counter. While you wait, shop in this charming decor and organic food store. Here you can find breakfast, lunch for the next day, food to take back to your Airbnb. Great wine selection. The help was wonderful. You can sit inside or outside. We sat inside in the window area to avoid the smokers. Seating collection is extremely eclectic. We did notice that most of the chairs were hard, metal or wood. So if you’re looking for a comfy seat, this might not be your spot.

Quantities of vegan options, violife cheese, other snacks. I didn't see too much as we were in a hurry, but I caught the Violife cheese and it's naturally delicious.

We found this place by accident and had salads with our quiche and tortilla (and a pie). The food was fresh, lovely and served by a very helpful and pleasant server who looked after the shop too. It wasn't busy and we had cakes for desert. It was all gorgeous and organic. We also bought a range of organic produce to take away with us. (No fish)

I'm neighbor to the neighborhood. I love having a place like this nearby, where besides making the necessary purchases I can take a good coffee in silence (with a rich cookie, in my case). I'm surprised by the wide schedule of the place. and above all I must highlight the human factor; there is a girl who is extremely nice, attends super well, with a wide and sincere smile and that makes you feel a drop of when you come in to say goodbye. It's called Marine, it's hard to forget people like that. Congratulations on employees like this!
