Xarcuteria Molina Barcelona

We found ourselves eating breakfast and dinner here as it was the best of the bunch around the area and breakfast in our hotel was expensive. Essentially a tapas bar it also has a good range of food to order. Starting the day with their tomato bread and coffee set us up for sightseeing until lunch. Very reasonably priced even with the poor exchange rate.

The first time I ate here the food was actually pretty good, but the experience was worse the second time. The service as others have previously mentioned is very unfriendly and the prices are untransparent and unnecessarily high, but they get away with it, because of the restaurant's good position. Their take on patatas bravas with wasabi is quite awful as well in my opinion. I suggest you put an effort to find a better restaurant even if it's a bit more off the beaten path.

Very good food to take away. You can also eat there but I took it home and It was very good food. Nice service.

I ate here for tapas one night. The plaza is nice to sit and people watch. Its close to a big subway stop but not too busy with people like the more downtown areas. I ordered patatas bravas and another tapa with tuna and avocado. Both were unique tasty dishes.

First time I came here was based on a friend's recommendation. I sat outside on the patio and had a coffee with a bikini sandwich (grilled ham and cheese), which was delicious. Service was prompt and friendly. Second time I went there, I ordered a bikini again and the salmon sandwich from the deli counter. I also asked for a coffee but their machine was broken. Anyway I was asked to pay and wait, which I did. Once the sandwiches were ready, for some reason, the waiter thought the order was for take away, not sure why as I made no indication of it. Once he realized we'd be sitting down, he sent me back to the cashier to pay the difference since your meal costs more if you're sitting in! I know this is common in Italy, but in Barcelona?! Was not happy about the assumption made and the inconvenience that followed. Otherwise the bikini was delicious as was the salmon sandwich (however it was overpriced at almost €3 for a little square). A hit and miss place..
