I was referred to Currituck BBQ by my wedding planner. Despite the short notice, Currituck was so accommodating. The price was comparable to other companies I had looked at. The day of the wedding went off without a hitch. The appetizer bar was incredible and the crab dip was some of the best I’ve ever had. The brisket was tender and so flavorful. My favorite was the mac and cheese (and I am a mac and cheese snob). Everyone at my wedding raved over the food. I even had several tell me the other company did me a favor allowing me to find this gem of a restaurant. I am forever grateful and I will be coming to Currituck to get more food soon.
Proper North Carolina barbeque. Pulled pork sandwich with their own vinegar based sauce (they also offer a mustard bbq sauce). They sell the pork by the pound as well and even the sauce too. The hush puppies are divine. It's a casual dine in or take out with a counter to order. I highly recommend it. Parking: Gravel, handicap spots Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp Service: Dine in
This restaurant is nothing fancy, but they serve the best tasting pulled pork I have ever had. The service was excellent. We dined in for lunch and the price per person was between $10 and $20. I would rate the food and service a 5 out of 5, but the atmosphere was only a 2. I highly recommend trying their Pork BBQ dish.
This restaurant in North Carolina has the best BBQ around, no doubt! Whether you dine in for lunch, you can expect exceptional service, with a price range of $10-20 per person. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive top marks with a rating of 5 stars each.
First of all I've been coming here for a couple of years now about 5 or 6 and the barbecue is great, nice little North Carolina barbecue establishment Just one piece of advice do not take anything out of that cooler On the right side before you get to the cashiers] That has already been pre package it is close dated in other words is Going Out of date.. Very very soon ...The cashier asked me if I wanted hot or cold I said I was taking it Home up North and she said over there we have 1 pound containers... So my wife and I picked up some brisket, pull pork and pull chicken potato salad all-in-one pound containers The brisket had 1 dayBefore was out of date In other words I spent $83 in this place and I have no more than 2 or 3 days Before it goes out of date It's a shame how you take advantage of visitors in your state comeing back the outer banks.... In other words be very careful of what you buy out of this place...... I hope I don't get sick over this food... Somebody should be checking dates Before they expire.... Well it's been 3 weeks since I posted my review I'm Thinking they're not too fond of bad reviews...... I guess everybody understand that ..Nobody likes bad news or reviews .That's all right There are plenty of other barbecue establishments in North Carolina to go to.....
