Ugetti - Bardonecchia

If you come in Bardonecchia for skiing or not, this place is a mandatory stop for a sweet refreshment .... The pastry itself is very good anything you should get, but the place is well noted for the Krapfen. Yes, Krapfen, one of the best i ever eat, expecially if you do while they are still a little bit warm. It's a perfect relax after a full day of skiing, and a mandatory option in Bardonecchia. ENJOY !!!

Da molti anni frequentato questo pasticceria che offre deliziosi dolci freschi e buoni, così come i loro famosi bomboloni caldi al forno ogni pomeriggio. Oggi ho comprato le bugie di carnevale e devo dire che sono stati fino alla qualità abituale di questa pasticceria.

Those who walk the central Via Medail, in Bardonecchia, are easily attracted to this pastry shop. So it was for me. The illustrious Piedmontese tradition of sweets confection, and in particular of chocolate and related products, is well represented by the Ugetti showcases. Elegant female shoes, which are actually shaped with chocolate, funny walruses also made wih chocolate, and more traditional cakes and biscuits, make a good show for the customer. I purchased a cake made up of a plate of excellent chocolate, carrying a large quantity of whole hazelnuts embedded in it; and a jar of almond cream (quite unusual, unlike the hazelnut cream). Shop certainly worth mentioning.

You could easily miss this shop walking down the high street, but be sure to visit as the chocolates and pastries and beautifully created and presented. In the end, we only bought a small bag of mixed chocolates on our last day to take home, but they were so nice, we wish we'd bought more different items to try while we were there! Of course some of the prices are quite high as you would expect.

I stayed in Bardonecchia for five days and I went here everyday. The pastries are made fresh daily and they are delicious. The staff is very helpful and patient. The gelato and chocolate is also excellent. Do not miss this place.
