La Terrazza - BARGA

For some reason, trip advisor says this place is permanently closed, it isn't! We were staying a short walk away at a villa in Albiano. Small restaurant with a varied menu and exceptional food! We had pizza, tortelli Al Ragu, pork and sformato, our party agreed it was all fantastic. No English spoken but that only adds to the charm, lovely staff.

Travelling in 2020 can be stressful, but the professionalism, kindness and sensible application of new hygiene and distancing rules at the fabulous Albiano swimming pool La Terrazza restaurant made for a lovely, relaxing experience. We 've been coming back again and again, mainly for days and evenings the pool, and it is always just as lovely. This year was no exception. Valeria and Veronica at the pool are really wonderful, welcoming considerate of their guests. Easy tasty food for lunch, and good simple snacks cocktails, too. The food in the restaurant just down the road from the pool hotel is lovely, especially the 'primi piatti ' and pizzas (at the weekend . We felt in very safe hands, and that made it possible to really relax and enjoy our time there. (Deckchairs and tables are more spaced out this year, and guest numbers reduced by about half, so booking is a very good idea, and essential for the pool at the weekend!

Great local Italian food and friendly service. Lovely menu, good fixed lunch menu, pizza oven open at the weekends. Locals eat here a lot showing it is great food.

We have a place just around the corner from La Terrazza, this is a fantastic restaurant and should be visited if you are nearby. The ragu is the beet ragu I have ever tasted. The pizza is lovely too. Service brilliant and a really lovely atmosphere. Will definitely be returning!
