Il Sottosopra - BARI

Lovely rather bare interior with high ceilings very old, clearly. Food and service very good not particularly romantic or atmospheric but really enjoyed and will definitely return when next in Bari.

I was recommended to come to this restaurant, the main reason for the free antipasti they give. We were not given any free antipasti, but the food was good and a good portion We took the Tris of marinated fish, a salad, and a fresh fish with grilled vegetables and everything was perfect. Just the house red wine was not good.

Very good location and clean place, recommended for families, near of the downtown and very safe to walk at nightlife with kids

Went there with my mates twice during my stay in Bari and will definitely go back when back in the town. The food was excellent. The first time we went for pasta it was well cooked with fresh ingredients. Big portions and perfect composition of flavours. The second time we decided to have fish and sea food. Everything was fresh as well with a great taste. Before the mains, we were served a set of antipasti: bread with olive oil, bruschettas and some traditional snacks from the region (Sgagliozze and Popizze . The best thing about the restaurant is its exceptional service. We were welcomed by the owner of the restaurant who always went and extra mile to make us feel good. The second time, we got an extra dessert :
